Donkey - Ane - Size #3 / Grande

Donkey –- Ane

The donkey carries Mary, heavy with child, to Egypt. An old Provencal folk tale gives his name as Ali. The warmth of his breath and that of the ox helped to keep the Christ child warm. The donkey is a symbol of humility.
